Jordan has extensive knowledge and 15 years experience in restaurant management. He is a graduate of International Culinary Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. Very soon after school he found himself interested in the highest quality cuisine. He has worked for three four star chefs, two 5 diamond, 5 star establishments, including The Four Seasons Hotel in Washington D.C. Prior to this position, he was executive chef of La Goulue in Bal Harbour, Florida working for Christian Delouvrier, the 4 star chef of the great restaurants Les Pinasse and St. Regis in New York City. Jordan has been an integral part of 7 restaurant/resort openings and world class dining establishments including Mason’s, our new neighbor, Per Se in New York City, and Auberge Du Soleil in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. Jordan has a wide-range of knowledge with front and back of the house operations as he has worked for the very best restaurants in the country holding positions on both sides.
Bartlett Pear Inn’s concept is an upscale American Bistro. Offering a variety of prime cuts of beef, roast chicken, and choices of sides, as well as a la cart appetizer and entree choices. The food’s foundation is based on classic French technique with subtle touches of contemporary plate design. He uses products from local farms whenever possible. The restaurant is to be comfortable, fun, relaxing, and a place to be seen.
In Jordan’s spare time, of which there is not much, he simply loves to play with his children; GiGi, age 3 1/2 and Oliver age 1 1/2.
